Love Your Melon is proud to have supported the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital with $832,620 in support of the fight against pediatric cancer. Your support in the past as helped fund groundbreaking brain tumor research and treatments, bone marrow transplants, a therapy dog program, as well as the Love Your Melon lounge inside Kyle Rudolph's End Zone. Our lounge provides a safe and positive environment for children and teens to relax and play amidst the difficulties of treatment.
At the end of 2020, we gifted the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital with $100,000 to directly support new 3D Bioprinters. This technology greatly reduces the risk of Graft Versus Host Disease that can attack a patient’s body after a bone marrow transplant. The 3D Bioprinters will help make bone marrow transplantation safer and more effective for children with high-risk leukemia and lymphoma.
