INTERNATIONAL GIVING PROGRAM
Because of your support, our impact is spreading further than ever before! We just launched our International Giving Program, and we will now be giving beanies to children in hospitals all over the world as well as financial gifts to nonprofits fighting cancer internationally.
The beanies will be given at hospitals based on our "Request a Hat" program, which allows anyone to request a beanie for a child who is battling cancer. When a hat is requested, we will coordinate with approved Love Your Melon Crew Abroad Members who will deliver the beanie and make a child's day!
As part of our International Program launch, we are also excited to announce our brand new nonprofit partner, Children's Oncology Group, an organization dedicated to providing new insight for doctors worldwide. Our partnership will fund the organization’s "Project:Every Child," a study that aims to capture the biology and outcome of every child diagnosed with cancer in the United States and COG's affiliated countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia.
Our partnership will allow doctors from around the world to compare and contrast DNA samples from pediatric cancer patients and their families and apply the knowledge to their research, ultimately leading to better treatments and cures.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can change the world by continuing to make a difference for children battling cancer.
THE ADVENTURES OF THE SUPERCREW
We recently released our brand new children's book, and over the past few weeks it has been amazing to see children at hospitals all over the country hear the story, get to know the characters and relate the uplifting story to their own journey through the difficulties of cancer treatment.
MELON MADNESS: OUR BIGGEST IMPACT YET
We're gearing up for our biggest weekend of the year and we can't wait to share it with you. In the five day period from Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday, our goal is to generate enough to give $1 million to the fight against pediatric cancer.
