Candlelighters NYC

Candlelighters NYC has been helping kids fighting cancer and their families since 2007. They assist and provide family support through all the stages of cancer: discovery, diagnosis, education, treatment and remission, and they stick with the families all the way through.

During 2020, and 2021, Love Your Melon  gifted $50,000 to Candlelighters NYC to provide direct support and relief to families battling cancer through grocery gift cards, clothing, toys, pampering services for parents and teens, technology, parties, and special birthday, hospital, and holiday gifts. During the stages of cancer, items like these are hard to come by, especially with the cost of cancer treatment.
