Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services

Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services provides family-centered care that addresses the emotional, practical and financial struggles for families of children and teens during treatment for pediatric cancer. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, it causes unimaginable stress and hardship on the whole family, and Jacob’s Heart exists to assist these families by directly supporting in whatever areas the family needs most.

Love Your Melon is proud to have gifted $50,000 to Jacob’s Heart because we have seen firsthand the difficulties that families face throughout treatment. Through this gift we have assisted with basic needs such as rent, phone and grocery bills as well as financial assistance with transportation to and from treatment.

In addition, our financial support allowed families to attend Camp Heart + Hands, an incredible weekend family camp in May 2017 run by Jacob's Heart.
