Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) partners to achieve the best childhood cancer care system for children, youth, their families and survivors in Ontario and beyond.

Love Your Melon helps support the POGO Financial Assistance Program, which helps families cope with out of pocket costs for treatment. This program provides relief by reimbursing families for some of the costs they incur while a child is battling cancer. It is estimated that families can lose up to 1/3 of their income and face tremendous out-of-pocket costs as one parent is often required to give up work to look after the ill child.
