M HEALTH FAIRVIEW UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA MASONIC CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
The M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital provides a broad range of pediatric programs and care for children battling cancer. This hospital is a leader in pediatric oncology services as well as top-notch research and was the site of the first successful pediatric bone marrow transplant.
Love Your Melon was proud to give $732,620 to the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital in support of the fight against pediatric cancer. Your support in the past has allowed us to fund groundbreaking research for brain tumor vaccine therapy and treatment, bone marrow transplants, as well as build the Love Your Melon lounge inside Kyle Rudolph's End Zone, which provides a safe and positive environment to give children and teens the freedom to relax and play amidst the difficulties of their treatment.
At the end of 2019, we gifted the U of M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital $100,000 for use towards their incredible 2020 programs. This year, our funding will be supporting research to accelerate cures and prevention for Ewing Sarcoma as well as fund the new Therapy Dog Program, featuring Rocket, who will be at the hospital full-time delivering smiles and comfort to children and their families battling cancer.
