BIG GAME RECAP

BIG GAME RECAP

We had an amazing week celebrating the big game in our home city with so many of our friends and superheroes! Here’s a look at some highlights of the incredible superhero events from the past week.

We started off the celebration with our kickoff party at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital! The kids received exclusive Big Game edition beanies, danced, enjoyed pizza and even made signs to wish the players good luck! One of the players, linebacker Joe Walker of the Philadelphia Eagles, came to visit the children as well!

We continued the festivities with the Opening Night ceremony, where kids got to join in on the excitement and see the players!

One of the coolest events was the Super Kids Press Conference, where children got to ask athletes any questions they had! We heard words of wisdom about football, life, embarrassing moments and superheroes. Our favorite question was, of course, “What is your definition of a superhero?” followed by “How many Love Your Melon beanies do you own?”

During the big game, we joined superheroes at the Masonic Children’s Hospital big game watch party, where children got to use their own “tickets” to check in and cheer on the football players!

There was a caricature artist, a performance by the Skol Line drumline and good food to enjoy during the game.

To top it off, we were also able to bring superheroes Griffin and Henry, who are both battling cancer, to watch the big game with us live at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis! They cheered, ate good food and enjoyed the experience of a lifetime alongside their families and celebrity guests.

Your support has made all these adventures possible. Thank you continuing to support the fight against pediatric cancer!
