CureSearch for Children's Cancer is a national nonprofit dedicated to making sure there are better, less toxic treatments available to every child diagnosed with cancer. CureSearch is currently working on an aggressive research pipeline that will fund pediatric research grants and clinical trials that have a high chance of becoming successful children's cancer treatments.
Love Your Melon is proud to have worked alongside CureSearch in support of accelerating leading pediatric cancer research. To date, we have given $732,867 across two different programs: Dr. Davis’s Research and the Catapult Project.
A portion of these funds supported Dr. Davis, a Young Investigator who is conducting research on acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at Stanford University.
Additionally, we committed funds to support the Catapult Ignition Project. This project aimed to identify the most promising research and the main hurdles blocking these treatments from reaching clinical tests. Once the strongest research projects were identified, our funds allowed these studies to move out of the academic lab and into trials, where they actually reached children.
